lol .... After installing Windows 8 Pro on my desktop (legitimate licensed Copy I assure you), I actually told friends that in no way was this iteration for the average user. Meaning that, Windows users previously on either Windows XP or Windows 7 would probably have head explosions trying to figure out the new interface and overhaul in general. I realize that this is an article on Windows 8 Tablet iteration update but, it only reaffirms my beliefs: Microsoft screwed up with the average Joe and Jane as, I can literally see users having conniption fits over trying to figure out just the basics. For the record, I'm beginning to really like Windows 8 [HATE THE DREADED TILES, THOUGH] and have been able to customize; I just hope I don't encounter hardware and software fiascos like I did with Vista. So far I've been able to install Corel VideoStudio X6, Pinnacle 16 Ultimate and Xilisoft onto my 64-bit Win8Pro. Over the weekend, I'll test Adobe CS6 MC and maybe Nero 12 Platinum. And, again, Windows 8 is NOT for the light-hearted or anyone who had the slightest of issue techically with either XP or 7. There should be a Windows 8 Lite for Dummies and it should be called, "Windows 8 Lite for Dummies"!
