Football star watches son's birth using FaceTime

Dallas Cowboy cornerback Brandon Carr had a problem. After beating the Miami Dolphins 24-20 in the annual Hall of Fame game, Carr was back at Cowboys' training camp in Los Angeles when he got a phone call that his wife was being rushed to the hospital to give birth. Carr rushed to the airport, but realized that he would never get to the hospital in time for the delivery. But the solution to his predicament was right there in his pocket.

Sitting on a chair at LAX, Carr used the FaceTime feature on his Apple iPhone to watch his second child, Austin, come into this world. Carr got two days off from the Cowboys to visit his family before having to return back to training camp. Of course, had the Cowboys had their training camp near Dallas instead of in L.A., he probably would have made it back to the delivery room in time in the first place.
